OPEN EVENING & VOLUNTEER RECRUITMENT EVENING – Wednesday 2nd September 8.00pm

making food croppedCome along to see the night shelter and find out what volunteering there is like. A great opportunity to see for yourself what the shelter is like and to find out what volunteering there entails. Invite your friends!

The open evening will be quite a relaxed chance to see the night shelter without making any commitment to volunteer. It’ll be followed by a more detailed induction for new volunteers a week or two later.

We’re keen to attract asylum seekers and refugees to become volunteers and can offer some travel expenses to volunteers who are in this criteria.

(If you can’t make Wednesday’s open evening, don’t worry! Get in touch and we can sort out a time for you to come and see the shelter when it suits you!)

Email us to get more details and the location!

Oli Garrud croppedSATURDAY 29th AUGUST: GREAT SCOTTISH SWIM

Hi my name is Oli and I am going to do 1 mile sponsored swim across loch Lomond at the end of August and wanted to raise money for the shelter.

I have set up a fundraising page on the BT mydonate website and I think that I have already linked it to the night shelter charity page there(?). I will add more detail to it later.   https://mydonate.bt.com/fundraisers/olivergarrud
